Motion Forex uses Lion to include video effects instantly
Autodesk on Wednesday launched a brand new video-effects application for Macs, one which uses the face area-tracking technology of OS X Lion to produce exotic images making use of your computer’s camera.
Motion Forex uses Autodesk’s Maya animation software to provide 80 visual effect filters-including smoke, fire, and “rainbow plasma”-all made to react instantly for your on-camera movements. Users can set the applying to use the results using motion, face, or color recognition. Animated thumbnails permit you to preview effects before with them.
The application features a “cycle mode” that may instantly shift between effects throughout an on-camera performance. It offers support for switching between multiple cameras, and could be viewed using multiple displays-letting operators control the results in one screen, say, as the performance is forecasted to have an audience.
Motion Forex is free of charge, and suitable for computers running OS X 10.7 Lion.
